Refund Policy
Our return conditions and refund conditions are described in our General Terms and Conditions (GTC). These can be found here. Since most people (including us) do not feel like reading through these kinds of documents, we have posted a shorter version here. Of course, the provisions as described in our General Terms and Conditions are leading.
Can I return my product?
1. You have a 14-day return period for all our products, starting from the day you received our products (GTC, Article 6.1-6.2).
2. The product and its packaging must have been used solely for inspection purposes, and cannot contain any unnecessary traces of use. (GTC, Article 7.1)
3. You are able to us proof of purchase, such that we can initiate a refund if required.
How do returns work?
1. Please check that you meet all return conditions.
2. Carefully pack your product and everything that came with it using the original packaging (GTC, Section 8.3). If necessary, tape the box shut.
3. Go to the webpage of the parcel service with the Track&Trace code you received with your order.
4. Create a return label on the Track&Trace page. (For customers outside of The Netherlands, we need to make a return label for you. Please send us an email, as described in step 6!)
5. Take your parcel to your favourite post office, and show your return label there. The return shipment costs are must be paid by you, and are non-refundable (GTC, Section 8.5).
6. Send an email to customerservice@thecomfortgift.store to notify us of your return (GTC, Section 8.2). Attach your proof of purchase and proof of shipping here to prove that you have returned the product in a timely manner (GTC, Section 8.4). You may use our model withdrawal form for this purpose (GTC, Appendix I), which we have posted at the bottom of this page. We would greatly appreciate it if you mention the reason for the return so that we can improve, our service.
7. After we receive your return, we will start an internal investigation. If we conclude that you should indeed receive a refund, we will reimburse you for your purchase within 14 days (GTC, Article 9). Of course, we must also have received all your details in good order before that. We will keep you informed of the progress by e-mail.
8. If you have done all this and still have not received a refund, or you believe we have acted incorrectly, please contact us at customerservice@thecomfortgift.store.
